Ski Trip スキー旅行

Wow, I can't believe how much I allowed myself to drop off the planet.
やれやれ久しぶりみたいなー。　

As the title implies I went skiing in Japan. I went up to Nagano with a large group of exchange students from Shizuoka campus and Hamamatsu campus. Hamamatsu campus has students mostly from Engineering and science based majors.

The first day it was raining, but mostly we stayed in the bus that day. Along the way we stopped at Matsumoto Castle, spent about an hour taking pictures, and then one more time got on the bus to go to Nagano.
最初の日雨が降っていたけどだいたいバスでいった。　　途中で　松本城に止まって　一時間ぐらいいっぱい写真を取ったもう一回バスに乗って　ながのまで行った。

After arriving in Nagano we checked our gear and had supper together. Then we all crashed in preparation of skiing the next day. 　
長野に着いた後　皆はスキーをするためな装備をちゃんと調べてホテルで晩御飯を食べた。　その後皆は部屋に戻ってスキーをする用意する為に寝た。

The second day we spent learning how to ski. I had little trouble picking it up. We also had a really good instructor. I only fell once the first day. It was pretty funny. I flew off a small drop off where two courses connected. I just calmy landed on my back with my ski's still flat and slid along for a bit. Then I stood up and continued.
次の日でスキーの仕方を教えさせた。　　ちょっと早く分かるようになって来た。　僕のグループの教師は凄くよかった。　　初めてスキーをやった日　一回しか転ばなかった。　　でも面白かった。　　コースとコースの間で小さい坂があって　つい飛び降りてしまった。　こしは雪を触りながら　まだ滑っていた。　その後　僕は立って　滑るのは続けた。

Other than that I've found I have a penchant for going fast. On a difficult course the 3rd/last day, my friends advised me to go slow, so I did. 　Because I was trying to hold back, I fell 4 times. After that I quick holding back and went really fast the rest of the way. It was fun.
僕はスキーをしたので面白いことを気付いた、僕は早く滑るの方が好きだ。　三番目・最後の日で難しいコースを滑る前に　友達は遅く行ってを相談させたので遅く行った。　 遠慮をしていたので　最初の坂で四回転んだ。　遠慮しないようにした後　凄く早く行ったけど　まったく大丈夫だった。　最高だった。　

That was the main extent of the ski trip, eating, sleeping, skiiing. It was a blast but went too fast.
それはスキー旅行のことだ、　食べたり、寝たり、スキーしたりした。　　最高だけど早く過ぎて終わった。

Now that the trip is over it's kind of boring here. I am getting a lot done, but it's all alone. I don't have karate for a week or so, I don't have a job, and it is completely unnessary to go to school.
Well, at least I can relax a little. In March I will probably do some traveling, and choose classes. (I might take korean... because there is no oppourtunity for that at UNO)

その旅行はもう終わったので　会館にいる生活をちょっとうんざりしている。　　沢山の必要なことをやっているんだけど友達と遊ぶ機会があまりない。　　　あと一週間から手がやるようになるけど、とりあえずバイトが無いし　学校に行かなくていいしちょっと面白くない。　　でも　すこし休む時間がある。　　三月で　旅行をしたりクラスを選んだりするつもり。　　「韓国語の授業を取る可能性がある、なぜならアメリカでその授業を取る機会はないからです。
